The FS1000-cp Wireless Bridge Kit is a high performance industrial wireless Point to Point ethernet bridge system. The FS1000-cp is specifically designed for short range wireless bridging applications and comes supplied as a complete installation kit including a linked pair of factory configured FS1000’s.
Each FS1000 takes FreeSpace Networks leading edge wireless platform and delivers it in a compact IP67 unit. Small form factor, with a fully integrated antenna and powerful onboard WEB server ensures the feature packed FS1000 is simple to use, configure and install. The FS1000 supports all 5Ghz license exempt frequencies with operation through a single radio, and has been optimised for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) applications including building to building links for data and voice, wireless ethernet bridges and data back-haul, wireless CCTV applications, hotspots and network backbone installations.
User password, Hidden SSID, smart MAC address access control system and inbuilt hardware encryption provides an unparalleled level of transmission protection and data security. The FS1000 supports all mandatory and optional modes specified in 802.11i, a 128-entry Key Cache holds both shared and unique keys on a per-station basis and gives you WPA and WPA2 as standard.
In addition to supporting standard 802.11a operation, the FS1000 also offers 108Mbps Turbo mode and a range of performance enhancing options. These enable the FS1000 to achieve a usable data throughput in excess of 80Mbits per second.
